Job summary

TruKKer is seeking an energetic Operations Associate in Bengaluru to run live trip execution for GCC markets, coordinating drivers, tracking shipments, and ensuring accurate order records.

You will be on the phone most of your shift, coordinating driver briefings, updating clients at every stage, and resolving on‑road issues with a sharp eye for data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in logistics, transport or fleet operations.
• Comfortable on the phone all day with a firm, polite conversation.
• Hindi and/or Urdu essential; fluent English for customers.
• Hands-on with a TMS or ERP and strong Excel.
• Able to work GCC hours with rotational shifts including weekends.
• Calm under pressure and closure-focused.

About the role

TruKKer is a technology-driven road freight company operating across the GCC. This role sits in our India COE and runs live trip execution for the GCC markets coordinating drivers, tracking shipments, keeping customers informed, and making sure every order is recorded correctly in the system.

Be clear on what this job is: it is a heavy calling role.

You will be on the phone for most of your shift — drivers, transporters, customers, internal desks. If you want a back-office job with low call volume, this is not it.

What you’ll own

• Driver coordination — dispatch and brief drivers, confirm pickup and delivery, keep trucks moving, and resolve on-road issues as they come up.
• Live shipment tracking — monitor trips in the TMS through the day, spot delays before the customer does, and chase the driver or transporter until the trip is back on track.
• Client updates — keep customers informed at every stage: loading, in-transit, delivery, and any delay or exception. Proactive updates, not just answering when they call.
• Order recording — enter every order and trip into the system accurately: correct customer, route, vehicle, rate, and timestamps. Clean data is part of the job, not an afterthought.
• Documentation and compliance — chase PODs, close trips properly, and log exceptions so billing and the customer both have a clean record.
• Escalation — raise breakdowns, detention, route deviation and service failures to the right desk fast, with the facts attached.

What we’re looking for

• 1–4 years in logistics, transport or fleet operations, dispatch, control tower, or a high-volume voice process.
• Comfortable on the phone all day and able to hold a firm, polite conversation with a driver who is late and a customer who is unhappy, within the same hour.
• Hindi and/or Urdu is essential — most GCC truck drivers are South Asian and this is the working language of driver coordination. Fluent English for customer communication. Malayalam, Tamil or Arabic a strong plus.
• Hands-on with a TMS or ERP, and solid Excel.
• Accurate under volume — you don’t let data entry slip when the calls pile up.
• Able to work GCC business hours and the GCC working week, on rotational shifts including weekends as the operation requires.
• Calm under pressure, and the kind of person who chases something to closure rather than passing it on.

Nice to have

• Road freight, trucking or 3PL experience in the GCC
• familiarity with UAE/KSA trip documentation and border crossings
• experience in a shared-services or COE setup
• prior control-tower or 24x7 operations exposure
