Job summary

SA Automation & Control is seeking an On-Site Technician Consultant to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and support ELV/MEP systems at client locations in Bengaluru. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Travel to multiple client sites is required. Strong communication with customers and ability to read technical drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or equivalent technical field.
• Hands-on experience with ELV/MEP systems installation, maintenance or support.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and basic electrical knowledge.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills; able to read technical drawings.

About the Role

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented On-Site Technician Consultant to provide installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support at client locations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of ELV/MEP systems and resolving technical issues within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites for installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV/MEP systems.
• Attend breakdown and service calls and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and system health checks.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Explain system operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and site documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, materials, and spare parts used.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working at customer locations.
• Escalate major technical issues to the senior/project team when required.
• Travel to different client locations based on project and service requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on experience in ELV/MEP systems, installation, maintenance, or technical support.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work at different customer sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Public Address, Networking, BMS, or other ELV systems will be an added advantage.
