Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems including Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic cables.
• Install and configure IP CCTV surveillance systems including cameras, NVRs.
• Install and maintain access control systems, biometric devices, and door controllers.
• Support installation of Public Address (PA) systems and background music systems.
• Assist in the installation of Audio Visual and video conferencing systems.
• Install and test Wi‑Fi access points and network switches.
• Perform cable routing, trunking, conduit installation, and labeling to project standards.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Maintain documentation, cable tagging, and installation reports.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.
• Provide maintenance and technical support for installed systems.

Job description

• Position: ELV Technician
• Department: Projects / Technical Services

Role Overview

The ELV Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Audio Visual, and other ICT infrastructure systems at client sites. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work on commercial buildings, retail malls, offices, hospitals, and other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic cables).
• Install and configure IP CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, NVRs, and video management software.
• Install and maintain access control systems, biometric devices, and door controllers.
• Support installation of Public Address (PA) systems and background music systems.
• Assist in the installation and setup of Audio Visual and video conferencing systems.
• Install and test Wi-Fi access points and network switches.
• Perform cable routing, trunking, conduit installation, and labeling as per project standards.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Maintain proper documentation, cable tagging, and installation reports.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and project quality standards.
• Provide maintenance and technical support for installed systems.

• Experience working on commercial buildings, offices, hospitals, malls, or infrastructure projects

Required Skills
