Job summary

International Health Care in India is seeking a procurement specialist to manage sourcing of APIs, excipients, chemicals, intermediates and other pharmaceutical raw materials for production. You will identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and coordinate with QA/QC, Production, R&D, Stores and Finance for timely material availability.

• Ensure procurement is from approved vendors and complies with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Handle vendor negotiations, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials for production.
