Job summary

Riverside Bj Hospital And Research Centre Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks an ICU Intensivist to conduct daily ICU rounds, assess critically ill patients, monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as required.

Key duties include ER rounds, stabilizing emergency patients, coordinating ICU admissions, documenting accurate notes, and ensuring infection control and medication safety. You will be available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for rounds, emergency assessments and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily ICU rounds, assess critically ill patients, monitor clinical progress, and initiate or modify treatment plans as required.
• Conduct regular Emergency Room (ER) rounds, assess emergency patients, initiate timely treatment and stabilization, and coordinate ICU admission whenever indicated.
• Manage ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients, review investigations, and ensure appropriate monitoring and evidence-based treatment.
• Coordinate with consultants, emergency doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for timely and effective patient care.
• Ensure accurate clinical notes, treatment orders, progress records, and handover documentation for ICU and emergency patients.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, medication safety, and critical care standards.
• Provide a proper handover of all critical ICU and emergency cases to the concerned treating doctor or next-duty intensivist before leaving.
• Remain available within the hospital from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for ICU rounds, ER assessments, emergency interventions, and clinical decision-making.

Accountability
