Role & responsibilities

1) Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning of patient rooms, wards, corridors, OPD areas, toilets, and common areas.
2) Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed as per hospital infection-control standards and maintain high levels of hygiene
3) Allocate duties, prepare shift schedules, monitor staff attendance, and ensure adequate manpower coverage across all hospital areas
4) Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper waste segregation, use of PPE, chemical handling, and compliance with hospital safety procedures.
5) Monitor housekeeping materials, chemicals, equipment, and linen requirements; maintain stock records and coordinate with nursing, administration, and maintenance departments.
