Job summary

Veolia India seeks experienced electrical engineering professionals with EPC exposure in water treatment, power, or oil & gas to deliver basic and detailed engineering tasks. You will study client specs, prepare deviations, and produce load lists, SLDs and layouts using AutoCAD/Navis and Dialux.

Knowledge of ATEX/IECEX and coordination of electrical packages is essential. The role expects hands-on use of ETAP/Caneco BT for load flow and sizing calculations, with experience across Middle East,

Qualifications

• Candidates from EPC background, Water Treatment Plants/ Power Industry and Oil & Gas are preferable.
• Familiar with international codes and standards: IS, IEC, NEC, BS, NFPA.
• Ability to study client specifications and prepare Technical Deviations and Query List.
• Perform basic engineering deliverables like Load List, SLDs and electrical equipment layouts.
• Perform detailed engineering deliverables like cable sizing, cable schedules, trays.
• Hands-on ETAP and Caneco BT (Load Flow Studies, Cable Sizing).
• Perform earthing calculations and layouts, lightning calculations and layouts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Navis and Dialux for Lighting.
• Able to select and size Transformers, DG Sets, UPS.
• Size ACB breakers and coordinate relays using ETAP.
• Prepare LV/HV Motor datasheets.
• RFQ/TBE/Offer evaluation for motors/panels/cables/trays/earthing BOM/light fixtures (All post order).
• RFQ/TBE/Offer evaluation for LV Transformers/DG Set/UPS Panels.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Area classification- ATEX/IECEX.
• Experience on EPC projects in Middle East, Europe and Singapore/Australia.
• Identify issues and coordinate resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and coordinate issue resolution.
• Prepare technical deviations and query lists as per client specifications.
• Produce load lists, SLDs, and electrical equipment layouts.
• Perform detailed cable sizing, cable schedules, tray sizing and layouts.
• Carry out ETAP and Caneco BT studies and relay coordination.
• Prepare RFQ/TBE/Offer evaluations for electrical packages and components.

• Candidates must be proficient in Auto CAD/Navis and hands on experience on Dialux Software for Lighting
• Candidates must be able to do selection and sizing of Transformers, DG Sets, UPS
• Candidates must be able to do ACB Breaker Sizing, Relay Coordination using ETAP
• Candidates must prepare LV/HV Motor Datasheets
• Candidates must perform RFQ/TBE/Offer evaluation for Motors/MCC Panels/VFD Panels/Power & Control Cables/Cable Trays/Earthing BOM/Light Fixtures (All post order)
• Candidates must perform RFQ/TBE/Offer evaluation for LV Transformers/DG Set/UPS Panels
• Candidates must have knowledge on Hazardous Area classification- ATEX/IECEX
• Candidate should have worked on Engineering for EPC Projects on Middle East, Europe and Singapore/Australia
• Identifies issues and coordinates its resolution.
