Job summary

Virtuoso Projects & Engineering Pvt Ltd in Pune invites a skilled MEP estimator to join our team. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare detailed BOQs, conduct rate analysis for labor and materials, and draft techno-commercial bids for industrial and turnkey projects, ensuring competitive pricing and clear submissions.

You will coordinate with Sales, Design and Execution teams to validate site conditions, assess cost risks, evaluate tenders, compare vendor quotes, and negotiate prices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil engineering.
• Experience in MEP estimation, tendering or quantity surveying.
• Hands-on with Electrical/MEP contracting for industrial projects.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, cost negotiation and deadline-driven skills.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Quantity Take-off & BOQ Preparation: Perform complete quantity take-offs from MEP drawings (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Rate Analysis & Costing: Conduct unit rate analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and sub-contracting works to build accurate project budgets.
• Tender & Bid Evaluation: Review tender documents, specifications, commercial terms, and scope of work to identify project requirements and potential cost risks.
• Vendor Quotation Comparison: Float inquiries to vendors and subcontractors, obtain quotes, prepare comparative statements (CS), and negotiate prices.
• Techno-Commercial Proposals: Draft clear, competitive techno-commercial bids and proposals for submission to clients within tight deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Execution teams to validate site conditions, technical feasibility, and value engineering options.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
