Job summary

Quest Global urgently seeks an experienced CAD design engineer in Bengaluru to develop and review 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Siemens NX. The role demands handling complex components and large assemblies, with a focus on GD&T, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.

You will collaborate with design originators, ensure quality, drive automation and continuous improvement, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives in Wind Power projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in CAD design.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX software.
• Experience with complex components, large assemblies and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with PLM tools like Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication (sheet metal) methodology.
• Experience with GD&T and other detailed standards.
• Experience in Wind Power domain is highly preferred.
