Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Bengaluru to contribute to sheet metal design and 3D modelling using PTC Creo. The role requires proficiency in creating detailed manufacturing drawings and applying welding symbols and GD&T standards.

Candidates should have 3-6 years of relevant experience and a BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering. This position is based on-site in Bengaluru, with opportunities to work across diverse engineering domains within Quest Global.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with sheet metal design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in PTC Creo for sheet metal design, 3D modelling and drawings.
• Knowledge of weldment design, welding symbols, and callouts in manufacturing drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Create professional CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
• Sound understanding of basic mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo (Version 9.0 & above) for Sheet Metal Design, 3D Modelling, and Drawings.
• Good knowledge of Weldment Design, welding symbols, and welding callouts in manufacturing drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Ability to create professional CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
• Sound understanding of basic mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
