Job summary

MY Indifuels is seeking a Chief Engineer to drive the technical delivery of fuel retail outlets across India, from greenfield sites to inauguration. You will oversee site surveys, feasibility, design, drawings and commissioning, ensuring safety and quality across civil, mechanical, electrical, automation and branding works.

You will manage design consultants, vendors and contractors to maintain programme timing and budget, acting as the technical conscience on what gets built.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering delivery for large-scale oil/energy projects.
• Master's degree in engineering or management.
• Exposure to EV charging infrastructure or biodiesel installations.
• Strong experience with EPC packages, commissioning and performance testing.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the technical delivery of fuel retail outlets across India from greenfield site to inauguration and to carry the engineering content of our production plant projects from design basis through performance guarantee runs.

You will own site survey and technical feasibility, engineering design and the drawing estate, construction-stage statutory approvals, civil construction, mechanical, electrical, automation and branding installation, testing and commissioning, and the handover dossier. You will run design consultants, vendors and contractors, hold the programme to timeline and budget, and be the technical conscience of what gets built and how safely it gets built.

Prior experience with an Oil Marketing Company IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Reliance BP Mobility (Jio-bp), Nayara Energy, Shell or Adani Total Gas - will be strongly preferred.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Reliance BP Mobility (Jio-bp), Nayara Energy, Shell, Adani Total Gas or any recognised Oil Marketing Company.

Production plant or process-industry project exposure: EPC packages, machinery erection and alignment, factory and site acceptance testing, loop testing and interlock proving, commissioning and performance guarantee runs.

Master's degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline.

Exposure to EV charging infrastructure, biodiesel or alternate-fuel installations.

Project management software, and strong MS Office with practical Excel for cost and programme control.
