Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive engineering and 8–15 years of chassis experience.
• Strong CATIA proficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading chassis subsystems from concept to launch.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, APQP, DVP and regulatory practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of chassis systems including frame and suspension.
• Drive design maturity, sign-off, and gateway deliverables.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, CAE, validation, and purchasing teams.
• Support sourcing, RFQ activities, vehicle launches, and pre-production builds.
• Ensure cost, weight, quality, and timing targets are met.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Lead development of chassis systems including Frame, Suspension, Powertrain Mounts.
• Drive design maturity, engineering sign-off, and gateway deliverables.
• Manage DVP, DFMEA, APQP, Validation, and Regulatory Compliance activities.
• Ensure achievement of cost, weight, quality, and timing targets.
• Coordinate with Suppliers, Manufacturing, CAE, Validation, and Purchasing Teams.
• Support sourcing, RFQ activities, vehicle launches, and pre-production builds.
• Proficient in CATIA, FMEA, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience handling vehicle programs from concept to launch.
