Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Chassis systems and components – brakes, suspension, wheels/tires.
• Create CAD models, drawings and GD&T in CATIA/3DX for chassis components.
• Ground-up design of chassis components from concept to production, ensuring manufacturability.
• Collaborate with D&R engineers and suppliers to meet program milestones.

Domain Knowledge:

• Extensive Knowledge in CATIA V5 / 3DX (GSD, Part Modelling, Drawing, Assembly & Kinematics)
• Expert in Sheetmetal design, Engineering operations, Manufacturing processes
• Good Knowledge and hands-on experience in GD&T
• Good Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering & Vismockup
• Having flexibility to work across time zones as role involves extensive interaction globally

• Expertise in Chassis Systems Design and Development - Brakes, Suspension, Wheels/Tires
• Responsible for developing CAD models, Drawings & GD&T in CATIA / 3DX, for Chassis components in Suspension, Brakes, Steering
• Functional expertise in design and development of Chassis aggregates and to take technical decisions with D&R Engineers and suppliers as required
• Ability to ground-up design of Chassis components through detailed design and delivery into production, by establishing manufacturing, assembly and service feasibility
• Good understanding of New Product Development process, program milestones and delivery success criteria for Engineering
