Job summary

Tata AutoComp in Chennai invites a CFD/Validation engineer to work on durability & reliability simulations for automotive programs. You will perform CAD clean-up, meshing, run simulations in ANSYS Fluent, and prepare customer-ready reports.

Candidate should have BE/BTech or ME/MTech and hands-on experience with passenger vehicle programs, CFD, multiphase simulations advantageous, and strong communication skills. On-site role with growth in a dynamic automotive engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive OEM in durability & reliability validation.
• Handson experience in at least two passenger vehicle programs.
• Experience in CFD simulations, air flow, external aerodynamics, front end flow simulations.
• Knowledge of multiphase simulations will have advantage.
• Must have good skill with ANSYS-Fluent.
• Effective communication skills.
• Design experience will be added advantage.

• Interaction with customer to understand the simulation requirement and objective.
• Get correct boundary conditions and CAD input.
• CAD clean up, Meshing, volume meshing and carry out simulations.
• Prepare reports which can be well understood to the customer with their formats.
