Job summary

Ufi Filters in Gurugram, Haryana, invites an experienced CFD engineer to independently run complex simulations using ANSYS Fluent/OpenFOAM, and to coordinate activities with a team of engineers.

The role requires expertise in turbulence modelling, meshing, and multiphase flow, with contributions to design ideas and product development discussions. Strong scripting skills to customize solvers are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with CFD simulations in gas and liquids.
• Proficient in turbulence modelling and meshing techniques.
• Ability to coordinate simulations and manage project activities with a team.
• Exposure to MIS related to planning and control of projects.
• Develop and improve CFD techniques and contribute to design suggestions.
• Involve in New Product Development discussions.
• Predict pressure drops and heat transfer; simulate products.
• Understand multiphase solvers including VOF.
• Generate customized scripts for solvers, meshing, data implementation.
• Report writing and delivery of intuitive results.

Responsibilities

• Independently run complex CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent/CFD tools.
• Build CFD mesh models and apply turbulence models.
• Coordinate simulations and manage engineering team activities.
• Engage MIS for project planning and control.
• Develop and refine CFD techniques; contribute design ideas.
• Contribute to New Product Development discussions.
• Predict pressure drops and heat transfer for products.
• Work with multiphase solvers including VOF; script customization.
• Prepare reports with clear, intuitive results.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Should be able to independently handle complex CFD simulations for both gas & liquids using ANSYS Fluent or Opensource software.
• 2. Capable of building CFD based meshed model & good know-how of turbulence modelling & associated calculations.
• 3. Responsible for coordinating CFD simulations & managing simulation activities with team of engineers.
• 4. Should have exposure to Management information system related to planning & control of projects.
• 5. Constantly Develop & improve new CFD techniques & also contribute to design suggestions.
• 6. Active involvement in the discussion related to New Product development.
• 7. Pressure drops predictions & Heat transfer calculations & simulation of the defined products.
• 8. Have a good understanding of multi-phase solver which also includes the VOF implementation for interface tracking for different phases.
• 9. Able to generate customized scripts for modelling of solvers, meshing & fluid data implementation.
• 10. Report writing & efficient delivery of projects with intuitive results.
