Job summary

Tech Mahindra seeks BE/BTech engineers with 3+ years of experience for HVAC/CASTING design roles. You will design 3D parts parametrically in Catia V5/3DX for casting and plastic injection molded parts, and prepare models with constrained sketches and Boolean operations.

You will generate detailed drawings, perform GD&T, and manage PLM data while ensuring DFM/DFA compliance and accurate tolerance stackups. E-drive/axle and pressure die casting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech with 3+ years of relevant design experience.
• Proficiency in Catia V5/3DX for casting and plastic injection parts.
• Exposure to GD&T and manufacturing-friendly design.

Responsibilities

• 3D part design parametrically for casting and injection molded parts.
• Prepare parametric models using constrained sketches and Boolean operations.
• Create drawings and 3D FTA for series production with GD&T.
• Ensure DFM/DFA compliance and data management in PLM.
• Support tolerance stackups and design reviews.

Job description

HVAC/CASTING JOB DESCRIPTION: BE/B Tech with 3+ YEARS Experience

• 3D Part design parametrically in Catia V5/3DX for Casting and Plastic Injection molded parts
• Parametric 3D model preparation using constrained Sketches and Boolean operation with Inner

/ outer methodology

• Working in Product structure using multi-Skeleton methodology
• Detailed Part design as per the design standards, following Design for manufacturing (DFM) and

design for assembly (DFA) requirements

• Drawing / 3DFTA creation for series production
• Detailed drawings creation with GD&T considering Manufacturing process and measurement

techniques

• Tolerance Stackup using 3DCS DVM/VA
• DFM and DFA issues and correct before the delivery
• Data management in PLM
• Ensure task compilation of Self and N-1s within agreed billable efforts and time

E-drive/axle, Pressure die casting design experience preferred.
