Job summary

Expleo Group in Chennai, India, invites skilled design engineers to join its mechanical design team. You will develop 3D CAD models for plastic parts and ensure DFm/DFa readiness using Catia V5 R24.

You will work on product structures, tolerance analyses, and PLM data management, delivering detailed part designs within project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years' experience in design for plastics using Catia V5.
• Knowledge of DFA/DFM, tolerances and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• 3D CAD design for plastic injection molded parts using Catia V5 R24.
• Constrained sketches and Boolean operations in product structures.
• Data management in PLM and on-time task delivery.
• Support packaging and design for manufacturing readiness.

Looking for Design engineers

Responsibilities

• 3D CAD design for plastic Injection molded parts using Catia V5 R24
• Part design using constrained Sketches and Boolean operation with Inner / outer methodology
• Working in Product structure using multi-Skeleton methodology
• Detailed plastic Part design as per the design standards, following Design for manufacturing

(DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) requirements

Mandatory:

• 3D CAD design for plastic Injection molded parts using Catia V5 R24
• Part design using constrained Sketches and Boolean operation with Inner / outer methodology
• Working in Product structure using multi-Skeleton methodology
• Detailed plastic Part design as per the design standards, following Design for manufacturing

process and measurement techniques

• Tolerance stackup analysis
• Self-check designs to rectify CAD quality , DFM and DFA issues
• Vehicle Packaging investigations and concept modification
• Data management in PLM
• Ensure task compilation within budget and on time
