Job summary

Manipal Hospitals Baner in Pune is seeking a cardion catheter lab assistant to support the cardiologist during live interventions. You will prep patients, review histories, and help with procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and pacemaker implantations.

You will operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic equipment while continuously monitoring vital signs to detect any complications promptly.

Responsibilities

• Patient preparation and consent, review medical histories, explain procedures to ease anxiety.
• Assist the cardiologist during live interventions such as coronary angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker implantations and EP studies.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment like fluoroscopy machines and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, ECG) to spot complications early.

Job description

• Patient Preparation: Greet patients, review medical histories, explain procedures to ease anxiety, and prep puncture sites (wrist or groin).
• Procedure Assistance: Work closely as the cardiologist's assistant during live interventions like coronary angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker implantations, and electrophysiology studies.
• Equipment & Imaging Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate complex imaging technologysuch as fluoroscopy (real-time X-ray) machines and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Continuously track the patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG readings during high-stakes procedures to spot complications immediately
