Responsibilities

• Prepare cathlab and procedure area before scheduled procedures.

• Assist cardiologists and clinical staff during catheterization procedures.
• Support imaging and monitoring systems in the cathlab.
• Assist with patient positioning and procedural preparation.
• Handle emergency interventions and resuscitation as needed.

Technician - Cathlab supports cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures by preparing equipment, assisting clinical teams, maintaining sterile supplies, monitoring technical parameters, and ensuring the readiness and safety of the catheterization laboratory.

• Prepare the cathlab and procedure area before scheduled procedures.
• Check cardiac catheterization and monitoring equipment for readiness.
• Prepare catheters, guidewires, sheaths, contrast supplies, and other consumables.
• Assist cardiologists and clinical staff during catheterization procedures.
• Support preparation and operation of cathlab imaging and monitoring systems.
• Assist with patient positioning and procedural preparation.
• Support emergency interventions and resuscitation activities.
• Maintain availability of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Assist with handling and documentation of procedural materials.
• Clean and prepare cathlab equipment after procedures.
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-control practices.
• Maintain accurate procedure and equipment records.
• Monitor stock of cathlab consumables and report shortages.
• Report equipment faults and coordinate maintenance support.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, biomedical engineering, and support teams.
