Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and other medical staff during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional procedures in the cath lab.
• Prepare and maintain all equipment used during procedures, ensuring sterility and functionality.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data accurately during interventions.
• Provide emergency support and perform CPR or other life-saving measures if necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation for each procedure, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and smooth workflow within the cath lab.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-procedure care, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Participate in routine maintenance and quality checks of cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
