• Customer service – Handle customer requests for currency exchange, rates, remittances, and other forex-related services.
• Exchange-rate management – Monitor currency rates and communicate current rates to customers and relevant teams.
• Market monitoring – Track foreign-exchange markets, economic news, and factors that may affect currency values.
• Documentation – Maintain accurate records of forex transactions, invoices, customer details, and supporting documents.
• Compliance – Follow applicable foreign-exchange regulations, KYC/AML requirements, internal policies, and transaction limits.
• Risk management – Identify and report potential currency, settlement, fraud, and transaction risks.
• Cash and currency management – Monitor foreign-currency balances and ensure adequate availability of different currencies.
