Job summary

FMS Solutions is seeking an Accounting Process Specialist/Sr. Process Specialist to provide accurate GAAP-based accounting work from the office for US clients. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end closes, journals, and bank reconciliations while coordinating with US staff.

The role requires 4–10 years of accounting experience and a B.Com with MBA Finance/M.Com/CA-Inter/ICWA-Inter background, with shift timing 6:30 PM–3:30 AM and cab provision.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of experience in accounting.
• Graduate in B.Com with MBA Finance / M.Com / CA-Inter / ICWA-Inter background.
• Office-based role requiring night shifts.
• Shift timings: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM; cab facility provided.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day bookkeeping transactions (Sales, payments and journals).
• Complete period/month end close process for multiple clients.
• Maintain client work papers (Journal entries workings) as per standards.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts (ReconNet experience preferred).
• Expense analysis and posting period end journals.
• Communicate with US staff and maintain client notes.
• Data entry and other duties as assigned.

Title

Accounting Process Specialist/Sr. Process Specialist

Purpose

Provide our US clients and staff with timely and accurate accounting work prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company standards.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Assistant Accounting Manager or Accounting Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record day to day bookkeeping transactions (Sales, payments and journals)
• Complete period/month end close process for multiple clients
• Maintain client work papers (Journal entries workings) in accordance with company standards
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts (Experience with ReconNet -Trintech software preferred)
• Expense analysis
• Create and post period end journal entries
• Communicate with US staff
• Maintain and document client specific notes
• Data Entry
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong accounting skills and understanding of the accounting process

Note:

• This position requires working completely from the office.
• Candidates should be willing to work in night shifts.
