Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing with defect tracking tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data verification.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data verification.
• Knowledge of defect management in HP-ALM.
• Functional, regression, retesting, sanity testing.
• Agile methodology with scrum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic functional testing of trading applications.
• Prepare and execute test cases based on business requirements.
• Participate in scrum meetings to discuss test status.
• Apply SDLC/STLC principles to ensure quality across the testing lifecycle.
• Report defects clearly and participate in defect lifecycle management.
• Execute functional, regression, retesting, system and sanity testing.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and attend daily stand-ups.
• Design and execute test cases to map business requirements to test coverage.
• Create and maintain Traceability Matrix to link requirements with test cases.
• Write SQL queries against databases (SQL Server) for data verification.
• Involve in Sanity, Smoke, Regression, Functional, and Non-Functional testing.

Trading Application & Algo Tester JOB DESCRIPTON

What he will do

• a) Basic functional Testing of (Capital Market) Trading Application like Omnesys, Greeksoft, ODIN, etc…
• b) Identification of test scenarios, preparation and execution of test cases to verify application functionality against business requirements.
• c) Expertise in Manual Testing- with defect management tool such as HP-ALM 12.53
• d) Very good knowledge of software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software testing life cycle (STLC).
• e) Excellent skills in Defect Reporting.
• f) Extensive experience in Functional, Regression, Re-Testing, system and Sanity Testing.
• g) Knowledge on Agile methodology with scrum team.
• h) Scrum Meeting to discuss the Test status report.
• i) Excellent understanding of Defect life cycle.
• j) Designing and executing test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested.
• k) Design the Traceability Matrix to map Business Requirements with test Case.
• l) Conducted Test Case review and send the review comments to team mates.
• m) Experience in writing SQL Queries against database for data verification using SQL Server.
