Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic functional testing of trading applications.
• Prepare and execute test cases against business requirements.
• Report defects and ensure quality through various testing methodologies.
• Maintain and report defects using HP-ALM and track defect lifecycle.
• Apply regression, functional, Sanity and non-functional testing as needed.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide test status updates.
• Design traceability matrices and review test cases with the team.
• Write SQL queries to verify data in SQL Server.
• Contribute to test planning and ensure quality across release cycles.

Trading Application & Algo Tester JOB DESCRIPTON

1.What he will do

• Basic functional Testing of (Capital Market) Trading Application like Omnesys, Greeksoft, ODIN, etc…
• Identification of test scenarios, preparation and execution of test cases to verify application functionality against business requirements.
• Expertise in Manual Testing- with defect management tool such as HP-ALM 12.53
• Very good knowledge of software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Excellent skills in Defect Reporting.
• Extensive experience in Functional, Regression, Re-Testing, system and Sanity Testing.
• Knowledge on Agile methodology with scrum team.
• Scrum Meeting to discuss the Test status report.
• Excellent understanding of Defect life cycle.
• Designing and executing test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested.
• Design the Traceability Matrix to map Business Requirements with test Case.
• Conducted Test Case review and send the review comments to team mates.
• Experience in writing SQL Queries against database for data verification using SQL Server.
• Involved in Sanity, Smoke, Retesting, Regression, Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
