Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Testing, specifically in Capital Market Trading Applications.
• Experience with manual testing and defect management tools.
• Strong understanding of test case design and execution.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
• Ability to design and execute test cases, and create traceability matrices.
• Knowledge of SQL queries for data verification (SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing of trading applications.
• Identify test scenarios and prepare test cases.
• Participate in Scrum meetings to discuss test status reports.
• Apply SDLC/STLC methodologies and perform various testing types (functional, regression, retesting, Sanity).
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and communicate test status.
• Design and execute test cases ensuring coverage of business requirements; map BRs with test cases via Traceability Matrix.
• Write SQL queries to verify data against databases (SQL Server).
• Engage in sanity, smoke, regression, and non-functional testing as needed.

Trading Application & Algo Tester JOB DESCRIPTON

What he will do

• a) Basic functional Testing of (Capital Market) Trading Application like Omnesys, Greeksoft, ODIN, etc…
• b) Identification of test scenarios, preparation and execution of test cases to verify application functionality against business requirements.
• c) Expertise in Manual Testing- with defect management tool such as HP-ALM 12.53
• d) Very good knowledge of software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software testing life cycle (STLC).
• e) Excellent skills in Defect Reporting.
• f) Extensive experience in Functional, Regression, Re-Testing, system and Sanity Testing.
• g) Knowledge on Agile methodology with scrum team.
• h) Scrum Meeting to discuss the Test status report.
• i) Excellent understanding of Defect life cycle.
• j) Designing and executing test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested.
• k) Design the Traceability Matrix to map Business Requirements with test Case.
• l) Conducted Test Case review and send the review comments to team mates.
• m) Experience in writing SQL Queries against database for data verification using SQL Server.
• n) Involved in Sanity, Smoke, Retesting, Regression, Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
