Job summary

A software services company in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Trading Application & Algo Tester. This role involves performing functional testing of trading applications, writing SQL queries for data verification, and actively participating in Agile scrum processes. Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing.
• Expertise in manual testing with defect management tools.
• Experience in Agile scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Excellent defect reporting skills.
• Extensive experience in functional, regression, re-testing, system and sanity testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology with scrum team.
• Participate in Scrum meetings to discuss test status.
• Understanding of defect life cycle.
• Design and execute test cases to validate business requirements and specifications.
• Design Traceability Matrix mapping business requirements to test cases.
• Conduct test case reviews and provide feedback to team members.

• Involved in sanity, smoke, retesting, regression, functional and non-functional testing.

• a) Basic functional Testing of (Capital Market) Trading Application like Omnesys, Greeksoft, ODIN, etc…
• b) Identification of test scenarios, preparation and execution of test cases to verify application functionality against business requirements.
