Job summary

Radiant Design Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator to join our shop floor in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will set up and run VMC machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure high-precision components are produced according to specifications.

Proficiency with Cimatron CAM files and familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controllers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating VMC machines with Fanuc, Haas, or Mitsubishi controllers.
• Proficient in reading CAD/CAM files and engineering drawings.
• Skilled in tool selection, offsets, and machine calibration.
• Familiar with Cimatron software for CAM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up VMC machines using Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controllers.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files (especially from Cimatron), and work instructions.
• Perform tool selection, offset setting, and machine calibration.
• Load raw materials and inspect finished parts for quality using measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, CMM, etc.).
• Optimize machining processes to improve cycle time and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvements.
• Ensure machines are properly maintained and cleaned after use.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
