Role Description

The Visa Team Leader – Study Abroad will oversee the visa processing function and ensure timely, accurate handling of student visa applications for multiple destination countries. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kochi and involves managing a team of visa executives, assigning workloads, monitoring progress, and maintaining service quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation, verifying eligibility, coordinating with students and partner institutions, and staying current with visa regulations and embassy/consulate requirements. The role also requires resolving complex cases, providing guidance on documentation and compliance, and maintaining detailed records and reports. The Visa Team Leader will collaborate closely with counseling, admissions, and operations teams to deliver a smooth, consistent experience for students and their families.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of study abroad visa procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance across key destinations (e.g., US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
• Experience leading or supervising teams, including task allocation, performance monitoring, coaching, and training in a service-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly, manage student and parent expectations, and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using office productivity tools and CRM or case-management systems to track applications, generate reports, and maintain data integrity.
• Prior experience in overseas education consultancy, immigration services, or related fields is highly beneficial.
