Job summary

VRecruitFirst is seeking a Visa Counsellor to assist clients with visa counselling, documentation, and application processing onsite in India. You will coordinate with clients, verify documents, and guide them through different visa options.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in visa counselling or immigration services, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Day shifts and onsite work are required.

Job description

We are looking for a Visa Counsellor to assist clients with visa counselling, documentation, application processing, and regular follow-ups. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to visa processing or immigration consultancy, along with good communication, client-handling, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel clients regarding visa processes, eligibility, documentation, and application requirements.
• Understand client profiles and guide them on suitable visa options.
• Handle client queries and provide accurate information regarding visa procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients throughout the application process.
• Collect, verify, and organize required visa documents.
• Prepare and review visa application forms and supporting documents.
• Identify documentation gaps, errors, or missing information.
• Coordinate with clients for pending documents, corrections, and additional requirements.
• Assist with online visa applications and relevant immigration portals.

VFS & Embassy Coordination

• Assist with VFS/biometric appointment scheduling and document submissions.
• Coordinate with embassy/consulate portals where applicable.
• Maintain records of applications, appointments, submissions, and follow-ups.
• Track application status and provide timely updates to clients.

Follow-Up & Coordination

• Follow up with clients regularly regarding pending documents and application progress.
• Coordinate with senior counsellors and the operations team for smooth application processing.
• Ensure applications are processed accurately and within defined timelines.
• Stay updated with basic changes in visa rules, documentation requirements, and procedures.
• 6 Months – 1 Years of experience in Visa Counselling, Visa Processing, Immigration, or Overseas Education.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of visa documentation and application procedures.
• Good client handling and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail while reviewing documents.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and online application portals.
• Ability to manage multiple client applications simultaneously.
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Strong follow-up and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline.

• Candidates with relevant experience in the Immigration / Visa Consultancy / Overseas Education industry will be preferred.
