Job summary

upGrad is seeking a creative Video Editor to join the Marketing team. You will craft engaging video content for brand campaigns, social media, product launches, and learner engagement, collaborating with marketers, designers, and strategists to drive awareness and conversions.

You'll stay ahead of trends, apply color, sound, and motion graphics, and ensure brand consistency across all assets while managing multiple projects to tight deadlines in a fast-paced edtech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film, Design, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in video editing in digital marketing, media, startup, or edtech.
• Strong portfolio showcasing marketing videos, social media content, and promotional campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form and long-form video content, including ads, reels, explainers, testimonials, webinars, and promotional videos.
• Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound effects, and color correction to enhance visual storytelling.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats optimized for different platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, branding, and content teams to understand campaign objectives and creative briefs.
• Maintain consistency with upGrad's brand guidelines across all video assets.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with video editing trends, social media formats, and emerging AI-powered editing tools.

About the Role –

• Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
