Job summary

Hummingbird Web Solutions is seeking a creative Video Editor to support our brands and marketing initiatives. Turn raw footage into clear, engaging videos with strong editing fundamentals and storytelling.

The role is based at our Baner, Pune office (full-time). You should have a portfolio showing your video editing ability and be eager to learn new tools and workflows, including AI-assisted approaches.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or showreel is required.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Video Editor to support the digital video needs of our different businesses, brands, products, and marketing initiatives.

You will work closely with our marketing, design, and content teams to turn raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, interviews, and ideas into clear and engaging digital videos.

We are looking for someone with strong editing fundamentals, good creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and improve quickly.

Location: Baner, Pune Work from Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: 30,000- 35,000 per month, based on skills and portfolio

Key Skills Were Looking For

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of cuts, pacing, sequencing, and storytelling
• Ability to turn raw footage into a clean and engaging finished video
• Comfortable working with captions, music, sound effects, transitions, and basic graphics
• Basic understanding of audio cleanup and colour correction
• Good sense of what makes short-form digital content engaging
• Ability to understand and follow a creative brief
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Comfortable receiving feedback and improving an edit
• Reliable and able to complete work within agreed timelines
• Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and workflows

Good to Have

• Adobe After Effects or basic motion graphics
• Experience editing Reels / Shorts
• Photoshop or basic graphic design
• Experience editing YouTube content
• Experience with educational, product, or business videosFamiliarity with AI-assisted video tools such as Runway, Descript, CapCut AI, Adobe AI features, or similar tools

These are advantages but not mandatory.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio or showreel is required.

Please share 2–3 examples of videos you have personally edited.

We are more interested in your editing ability, creative judgment, attention to detail, and potential to grow than formal qualifications.

Candidates should be prepared to explain their contribution to the videos submitted and some of the editing decisions they made.

Work Arrangement
