You will edit for pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific styles (Reels, Shorts, YouTube long-form), delivering both high-retention short content and structured educational videos.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 3 years of experience, proficient in Premiere Pro/Final Cut/DaVinci, and a strong eye for typography, color, and audio balance.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for social media and long‑form platforms.

The ideal candidate understands pacing, storytelling, viewer psychology, and platform‑specific editing styles (Reels, Shorts, YouTube long‑form). You should be able to create both high‑retention short videos and structured educational long‑form content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Short-Form Content (Reels / Shorts)

• Create high‑engagement 30–45 second vertical videos
• Craft strong hooks within the first 3 seconds
• Highlight key steps or techniques with fast‑paced editing
• Add clean, readable text overlays and callouts
• Maintain visual consistency and dynamic pacing
• Optimize content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

Long-Form Content (YouTube – 10 Minutes+)

Structure educational videos with clear flow:

• Introduction
• Tools required
• Step‑by‑step process
• Common mistakes
• Conclusion

• Use smooth transitions and logical sequencing
• Add chapter titles, graphics, and labels
• Ensure clean audio and optional background music
• Maintain professional storytelling and viewer retention

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (or similar)
• Strong understanding of vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats
• Knowledge of:
• Motion graphics basics
• Text animation
• Audio balancing
• Color correction
• Ability to deliver:
• 1080p minimum quality
• MP4 export format
