Job summary

VFRYT in Chennai is seeking a creative Video Editor to shoot, edit, and craft reels for our brand across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and corporate content. You will plan shoots, handle editing, add music and graphics, and maintain a consistent visual identity.

You will collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Operations, stay on trend with formats, and create engaging content from events and campaigns while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for digital platforms.
• Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and corporate content.
• Handle video shoots at office locations, events, client locations, and other required places.
• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Add music, transitions, subtitles, graphics, effects, and other elements to make videos engaging.
• Develop creative video content ideas based on current trends.
• Coordinate with HR, Marketing, and Operations teams to understand content requirements.
• Capture photos and videos during company events, employee activities, and business activities.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all video content.
• Stay updated with the latest Reels, Shorts, video formats, editing styles, and content trends.
• Support promotional campaigns and other digital content requirements.

Qualifications

• Any Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Digital Marketing, Media, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant experience in video production, video editing, content creation, or digital media are preferred.

Freshers with strong video editing skills and a good portfolio may also be considered.
