Role Description

This is an on-site Video Editor role based in Tiruchirappalli. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including organizing raw footage, editing sequences, adding transitions, and syncing audio to create compelling visual stories that support the foundation’s educational and social impact initiatives. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the R & D and communication teams, refining visual narratives, adding motion graphics and titles, and ensuring consistent branding across all video materials. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, exporting content in suitable formats for web and social platforms, and maintaining an organized archive of video assets.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational, informational, or social impact content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or equivalent).
• Good sense of visual composition, pacing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Tiruchirappalli and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant academic background or certification in film, media, communication, or related fields is an advantage.
• Interest in education, community development, and socially oriented projects is highly beneficial.
