Job summary

Aprende DaVinci Resolve in the Greater Coimbatore Area is seeking a full-time Video Editor to assemble raw footage into polished educational and promotional videos using DaVinci Resolve. Role Description

This full-time Video Editor role at Aprende DaVinci Resolve is an on-site position based in the Greater Coimbatore Area. The Video Editor will work on editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos for educational and promotional content, primarily using DaVinci Resolve. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing media, cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, and performing color correction and color grading to achieve a consistent visual style. The role also involves collaborating with instructors and the creative team to understand project objectives, creating motion graphics and visual elements that support learning, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality, brand, and timeline expectations. The Video Editor will maintain project files, manage backups, and continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience assembling raw footage into coherent, high-quality video content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, including color correction and look development to maintain visual consistency across projects.
• Ability to create Motion Graphics and Graphics that enhance storytelling and support educational material.
• Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software; familiarity with audio editing and basic sound design is a plus.
• Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with instructors, producers, and designers in an on-site environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced creative setting.
• Relevant education or proven experience in film, media, animation, or related fields; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
