Role Description

The Video Editor role at RethinkingWeb is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane. The person in this role will edit and assemble video footage for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and color grading to achieve a consistent visual style. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and marketing team members to develop motion graphics and visual assets that enhance user engagement. The role also involves managing project files, maintaining organized workflows, and delivering high-quality videos within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.


• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone across all projects.


• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and animated content.


• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is beneficial.


• Relevant experience in editing digital content for web, social media, or marketing campaigns is beneficial.


• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative briefs, and openness to feedback and iterative improvement are beneficial.


• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Thane are beneficial.


• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
