Job summary

Imaraat is seeking a full-time on-site Video Editor in Maharashtra, India, to assemble raw footage, trim clips, and craft cohesive narratives aligned with brand guidelines. You will apply color grading, refine audio, and integrate motion graphics and visual effects for multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with producers, designers, and team members to interpret briefs, maintain quality, and meet deadlines, while organizing media assets and backing up files in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and the ability to work with different formats, cameras, and workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, including timeline management, cutting, and sequencing to create clear, engaging stories.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual style, tone, and image quality.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Strong sense of pacing, composition, and storytelling, with attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment, manage time well, and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant education in Film, Media, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in video editing for marketing, social media, or corporate content is beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role located in Maharashtra, India. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, and creating cohesive video narratives that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include applying color grading, refining audio, integrating motion graphics and visual effects, and preparing videos for various platforms and formats. The role involves collaborating closely with producers, designers, and other team members to interpret creative briefs, maintain consistent quality, and meet project deadlines. The Video Editor will also assist in organizing media assets, backing up project files, and staying current with editing tools and industry trends.
