IdeaBox19, a Kochi-based graphic design and production studio, is seeking a full-time Video Editor for on-site work. You will handle end-to-end post-production, organize media, apply color grading, and integrate motion graphics to deliver engaging videos for social media and brand campaigns.

You will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, photographers, and social media managers to translate creative concepts into polished content while meeting deadlines and brand guidelines.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kochi. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, cutting and arranging clips, adding transitions, and fine-tuning audio to create polished videos for various platforms. The role involves close collaboration with designers, copywriters, photographers, and social media managers to translate creative concepts into engaging video content. Daily tasks include organizing media assets, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics or titles, and adapting content to different formats and aspect ratios while meeting deadlines and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for a range of formats (e.g., social media, ads, brand films).
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual styles.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand communication.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Solid understanding of framing, pacing, sound, and visual storytelling principles.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional creative teams.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
