Job summary

You will also color grade, perform basic motion graphics, and adapt content for various platforms while maintaining project files and collaborating with designers, marketers, and developers to elevate storytelling and audience

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Tiruchirappalli. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, and product demos, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, titles, sound effects, and music, and collaborating with designers, marketers, and developers to create cohesive visual content. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics work, and adapting content into different formats and aspect ratios for various platforms. The Video Editor will maintain organized project files, follow established workflows, and contribute creative ideas to improve video storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating high-quality, engaging content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and appealing look across all footage.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, overlays, and basic visual effects.
• Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong visual storytelling ability, and an understanding of social media and digital marketing video formats.
• Candidates should have effective communication skills, the ability to take feedback constructively, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Relevant education in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, and a portfolio showcasing recent video work will be highly beneficial.
