Qualifications

Role Description

The Video Content Creator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the team member will conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit video content that showcases temples, rituals, spiritual teachings, and devotional experiences aligned with Sanatan Dharma. Responsibilities include planning content calendars, collaborating with priests, temple partners, and internal teams, and creating video formats such as short reels, long-form educational videos, live-stream segments, and promotional clips for the app and social media channels. The Video Content Creator will ensure that all visual narratives are culturally respectful, accurate, and engaging, while optimizing content for multiple digital platforms. Daily tasks also involve managing video production workflows, maintaining equipment, organizing footage, and staying updated on trends in spiritual and digital content to enhance audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production, including filming, lighting, sound recording, and camera operation.


• Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools) and basic motion graphics.


• Ability to plan and script video content, with experience in storytelling, storyboarding, and visual communication.


• Knowledge of social media and digital content best practices, including vertical and short-form video formats.


• Understanding and respect for Hindu traditions, rituals, and cultural sensitivities; ability to create devotional and educational content with authenticity.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on-site.


• Effective collaboration skills to work with priests, temple authorities, and cross-functional teams.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film, Media, Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.


• Prior experience as a video creator, videographer, or content creator for spiritual, cultural, or educational platforms is an advantage.
