Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Video Editing and Content Creator to join our remote team. The Video Editing and Content Creator will produce compelling video content that supports our brand, marketing, and storytelling efforts. This role blends hands-on video editing with content ideation, collaboration, and production support across digital platforms. The right candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive as a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Please note: This is a remote, India-based 40 hr/week contract position that requires working hours from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content for marketing, social media, website, and campaign use.
• Curate and repurpose video content across multiple channels and formats.
• Collaborate with Producers, marketers, and content partners to edit and update existing content to align with brand and audience needs.
• Lead or support new video initiatives and creative projects with limited supervision.
• Assist with all aspects of production, including basic motion graphics, formatting, and post-production workflows.
• Ensure video content aligns with brand standards, tone, and narrative storytelling goals.
• Communicate timelines, production needs, and editing processes clearly to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in video editing, content creation, or digital media production.
• Strong proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Experience creating content for digital and social platforms.
• Strong storytelling skills with attention to pacing, tone, and visual consistency.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or visual effects.
• Experience working with nonprofits, media organizations, or mission-driven brands.
• Familiarity with content performance metrics and optimization.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
