The ideal candidate will have 18+ years of experience in integrated waste management or related infra, with strong leadership, commercial acumen and a track record of delivering profitability while navigating government contracts and regulatory

• Support city onboarding and mobilization for new projects.

About the Role

The City Head will have end-to-end P&L and operational responsibility for large-scale integrated municipal solid waste management operations within the assigned city.

The role involves managing complex city-level operations covering 5,000–10,000 MT/day of waste, large operational workforces, extensive fleet assets, processing facilities and multiple stakeholders.

The City Head will be responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, project performance, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management and strategic growth.

• Waste-to-Energy (WtE) operations
• RDF production and processing

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for senior leaders with 18+ years of experience who have managed large-scale operations in one or more of the following:

• Integrated Waste Management
• Waste-to-Energy
• Recycling / Resource Recovery
• CBG / Biomethanation
• Infrastructure / Utilities
• Urban Infrastructure / City Operations

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proven experience managing large-scale city / municipal operations
• Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen
• Experience managing large workforces, fleets and multiple operational facilities
• Strong exposure to government / municipal contracts and ULB stakeholder management
• Experience across C&T, P&D, WtE, RDF, CBG, recycling or integrated waste management
• Strong understanding of SWM Rules, environmental regulations and statutory compliance
• Experience in PPP projects, concession agreements or municipal infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership, crisis management, negotiation and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to drive operational transformation, productivity improvement and profitability
