Job summary

Resustainability in India seeks a Site Head / Project Head to lead our Bio-Medical Waste Management facility in Kalyani and Sangli. You will be responsible for end-to-end operations, P&L, regulatory compliance, and driving business growth.

Ideal candidate has 10–20 years in waste management, is capable of managing large teams, and has exposure to CPCB/SPCB regulations, incineration and autoclave operations. This senior role offers strategic impact and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or PG in a relevant field.
• 10–20 years of experience in waste management or related industries.
• Experience in roles such as Site Head / Plant Head / Project Head is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CPCB/SPCB regulations and bio-medical waste management.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete site operations and ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Manage site-level P&L, budgeting, cost control and resource utilization.
• Plan and manage manpower, fleet and operational resources.
• Drive cost optimization and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with CPCB, SPCB and related regulations.
• Manage relationships with customers, authorities, regulators and stakeholders.
• Implement EHS and IMS standards (ISO 9001/ISO 14001).
• Monitor plant performance, MIS, KPIs and risk registers.

Job Purpose

To lead the overall operations of the Bio-Medical Waste Management facility, with responsibility for P&L, plant operations, business growth, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, stakeholder management and overall site performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete site operations and ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Manage site-level P&L, budgeting, cost control and resource utilization.
• Plan and manage manpower, fleet and operational resources effectively.
• Drive cost optimization and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with CPCB, SPCB and applicable Bio-Medical Waste Management regulations.
• Manage relationships with customers, government authorities, regulators and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure implementation of EHS and IMS standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Monitor plant performance, MIS, operational KPIs and risk register.
• Lead and develop a high-performing site operations team.
• Ensure effective operation and maintenance of Bio-Medical Waste treatment facilities and associated systems.
• Drive customer service, retention and business growth at the site.

Candidate Profile

• BE/B.Tech/Post Graduation preferred.
• 10–20 years of relevant experience in waste management, bio-medical waste management, hazardous waste or process industries.
• Candidates currently working as Site Head, Plant Head, Unit Head, Project Head, Operations Head or Facility Head are preferred.
• Strong experience in managing large-scale plant/site operations independently.
• Good understanding of Bio-Medical Waste Management and pollution-control regulations.
• Exposure to Incineration, Autoclave, ETP/STP and waste treatment operations will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, P&L and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience dealing with CPCB/SPCB and government/regulatory authorities is preferred.
