Job summary

Enerva Marine Solutions is seeking a Vessel Performance Engineer to monitor vessel performance using digital platforms, noon reports, and sensor data. You will analyze KPIs such as fuel consumption, speed, hull/propeller performance, and energy efficiency indicators (EEDI, EEOI, CII).

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, coordinating with ship staff for data validation, and recommending operational improvements for fuel and emissions optimization.

• Experience in data analysis and scripting.
• Understanding of digital twin or machine learning concepts in maritime performance.

• Develop and maintain vessel performance dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ship staff to validate performance data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Recommend operational and technical improvements for fuel and emissions optimization (e.g., hull cleaning, voyage planning, engine tuning).
• Support decarbonization initiatives, including CII management and energy efficiency improvement plans (SEEMP Part III).
• Work closely with superintendents, ship managers, and commercial teams to align performance initiatives with operational goals.
• Assist in implementing performance monitoring tools and integrating third-party solutions (e.g., weather routing, voyage optimization).
• Stay updated on IMO regulations and industry best practices related to vessel energy efficiency and emissions.
