Job summary

Station Satcom Pvt. Ltd. invites an experienced IT professional to oversee day-to-day vessel IT operations, support, and infrastructure. You will ensure smooth service delivery, address issues promptly, and coordinate with vendors for timely IT support and procurement.

Leading initiatives to improve processes, implement new technologies, and monitor IT services with Datto RMM, you will mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvements across IT platforms on maritime assets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration and asset management.
• Experience with RMM tools (Datto preferred) and IT monitoring solutions.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities to manage complex IT issues.
• Excellent communication and coordination with vendors and users.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Team collaboration and mentoring capability.
• Ability to lead projects and implement new IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly IT service ticket reviews and daily follow-ups.
• Drive continuous improvement across IT processes, tools, and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, policies, and requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT support, procurement, and contracts.
• Manage IT assets, inventory, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee Datto RMM monitoring systems for proactive issue resolution.
• Provide user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Lead deployment of new IT infrastructure, office systems, and technology upgrades.

The Managed -Vessel IT is responsible for overseeing IT operations,support, and infrastructure related to vessel systems.The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning, timelyresolution of issues, vendor coordination, andproactive monitoring of IT services. The position alsodrives process improvements and implementation of newtechnologies to strengthen the organization’s ITcapabilities.
