Job summary

Veerwal Getwork Services is seeking a Vendor Relations Manager in India to manage and expand strategic vendor relationships. The role involves analyzing vendor performance, pricing, and profitability to uncover growth opportunities and drive revenue.

The candidate will lead negotiations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and use analytics and AI tools to optimize vendor strategies and outcomes. This is an on-site position based in Kolkata district.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic vendor relationships to drive revenue and profitability.
• Analyze vendor, SKU, category, pricing, margin, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute vendor growth strategies covering pricing, rebates, assortment, new channels, and geographic expansion.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure improved pricing, terms, incentives, and business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with vendor owners, senior leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand product assortment, marketplaces, territories, and distribution.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Pricing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Catalog, and Finance for execution.
• Monitor vendor performance, inventory, profitability, service levels, and commercial risks.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and performance reports using Excel/dashboards.
• Use AI and analytical tools for vendor research, business analysis, and workflow automation.
