Job summary

Teamlease Digital Private Ltd. in Talegaon Dabhade, Maharashtra, seeks a Vendor Coordinator to support procurement for sheet metal, fabrication and powder coating parts.

You will ensure timely material availability in line with production plans and coordinate with suppliers on orders. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in manufacturing procurement, diploma BE, strong Excel skills, and experience managing documentation and supplier follow-ups to meet delivery schedules.

• Possess good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and related manufacturing processes.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and procurement documentation.
• Diploma mechanical engineer/B.E with 2-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and powder coating parts.
• Review material requirements and communicate purchase requirements to suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders as per company procedures.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier-related documentation.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers for parts availability.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules.
• Track material dispatch from supplier and follow up until material receipt.
• Escalate delays, capacity constraints, quality concerns, or supply risks to the designated company representative.
• Work proactively with suppliers to expedite critical materials whenever required.
• Review production requirements and ensure procurement activities are aligned with the production schedule.
• Monitor material shortages and communicate potential risks well in advance.
• Prioritize procurement actions based on production urgency and business requirements.
• Ensure timely availability of components to support uninterrupted production operations.
• Provide periodic status reports on open orders, supplier commitments, delays, and critical issues.
• Maintain supplier delivery trackers and procurement follow-up records.
• Participate in review meetings with company stakeholders and suppliers as required.

Parts

1. Objective

The purpose of this engagement is to deploy skilled procurement manpower to support

sourcing and supplier coordination activities for sheet metal, fabrication, and powder coating

components. The deployed resource shall function as a Vendor coordinator at supplier site

and ensure timely availability of materials in line with the production plan.

2. Scope of Services

The service provider shall deploy qualified and experienced personnel to perform the

following activities:

Vendor coordinator Activities

• Manage procurement activities for sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and powder coating parts.
• Review material requirements and communicate purchase requirements to suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders as per company procedures.
