Job description

• The Project leader is responsible to lead NVH CAE activity for vehicle development programs including planning, coordination, and execution.


• Improve the understanding of NVH phenomena and modelling parts and systems within his scope.


• Ensure technological monitoring and carry out competitor analysis actions.


• Define NVH digital simulation methods and modelling and ensure their development set against target.


• Ensure capitalization of digital simulation methods.

Job Purpose

• The Project leader is responsible to lead NVH CAE activity for vehicle development programs including planning, coordination, and execution.


• Improve the understanding of NVH phenomena and modelling parts and systems within his scope.


• Ensure technological monitoring and carry out competitor analysis actions.


• Define NVH digital simulation methods and modelling and ensure their development set against target.


• Ensure capitalization of digital simulation methods.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead the digital evaluation to achieve NVH performance targets


• Conduct Periodic review and validate the R/C mechanism and C/M directions


• Responsible to report to CVE and other stake holders to get agreement for C/M


• Adhere to Project management compliance


• Responsible to confirm the targets with NVH performance team.


• Responsible to Optimize & Cost & Mass CAE Targets.


• Analyse risk and initiate avoidance activities. Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective action.

Relevant Experience

• 7 ~ 12 years of experience in CAE NVH for Automotive


• Good knowledge of fundamental physics ,Vehicle NVH Understanding & structural engineering principles


• Knowledge & Skill in using various CAE technologies / tools, especially: ANSA, Meta-post, ABAQUS, NASTRAN (Structural Calculation like Body In white stiffness ,Trim body analysis ,Road Noise ,Boom Noise analysis high frequency calculations like Aero Acoustics, Pass by Noise, HVAC noises ,LMS Test lab)


• Experience in making root cause analysis [Engineering analysis] & derive problem statements, propose counter measures or directions.


• Experience in conducting NVH Test vs CAE correlation and able to guide method development or propose adequate that can improve CAE credibility.


• Experience in project management [scheduling, executing, risk analysis, mitigation & contingency planning] .
