Job summary

Idiada Automotive Technology seeks a highly motivated NVH CAE Analyst to join the CAE Body Performance Development team in Pune. You will build NVH models, run simulations, and propose design countermeasures to meet NVH targets, collaborating with clients on load cases and reporting results.

Strong hands-on experience with Nastran, Opti Strut, ANSA/META, Hypermesh/Hyperview is essential. You will analyze results, prepare reports, and contribute to CAE development efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience building NVH models and conducting simulations.
• Ability to analyze results and recommend design countermeasures.
• Ability to work with clients and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-vehicle and subsystem NVH load cases using Nastran and related tools.
• Perform model assembly for BIW, Trim BIW and Full vehicle; include structure-fluid coupling.
• Generate acoustic cavity models with correct measurement point positioning.
• Evaluate subsystem models from simple to highly complex assemblies.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Conduct Modal Analysis, Frequency Response Functions and Direct/ Transfer Path analysis.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven NVH CAE Analyst to join our CAE Body Performance Development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical problemsolving capabilities, leadership qualities, and handson experience in NVH model building & simulations using primarily in NASTRAN, ANSA/META (Optistrut, Hypermesh / Hyperview), and related tools. This role involves supporting clients on vehicle NVH load cases, analyzing results, preparing detailed engineering reports, and recommending design countermeasures to meet or exceed NVH targets.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Simulation Responsibilities

• Handle fullvehicle and subsystem NVH load cases using Nastran (SOL101, SOL103, SOL108, SOL111 & SOL200), Opti Strut,
• Perform model assembly and integration for:
• BIW, Trim BIW, Full vehicle
• Structurefluid coupling
• Generate acoustic cavity models with correct measurement point positioning.
• Evaluate and integrate subsystem models from simple to highly complex assemblies.
• can be able to work Independently without supervision

NVH Analysis Execution

• Modal Analysis & Modal Alignment
• Frequency Response Functions & Direct Response Analysis
• Dynamic Stiffness & Road Noise
• Vibration Transfer Function & Noise Transfer Function
• Powertrain Noise (WOT & IDLE)
• Road-Load Conditions & Interior Acoustic Response.

PostProcessing & Interpretation

• Identify BIW/TBIW global modes
• Interpret FRFs, transfer functions, and dynamic responses
• Evaluate Sound Pressure Levels (Pa, dB, dB(A))
• Conduct Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) to identify dominant noise contributors
• Perform Root Cause Analysis
