Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking engineers to contribute to defining and maintaining vehicle-level architectures, focusing on how structural and E/E architectures are represented in the digital product definition. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vehicle systems while prioritizing packaging and structural considerations.

This role involves CAD data transformation and solving variant management challenges within a digital environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to defining and maintaining vehicle-level architectures, particularly focusing on how structural and E/E physical architectures are represented and managed within the digital product definition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Design, Advanced Engineering, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to ensure seamless integration of various vehicle systems and components, focusing on structural and packaging considerations.
• Perform package studies to ensure compatibility of designs with other vehicle systems and identify/resolve interference conditions within the digital structure.
• Optimize designs for key attributes such as function, cost, weight, performance, thermal management, and manufacturability through analytical and physical assessments, translated into digital models.
• Identify and resolve challenges related to CAD data transformation, variant management, and system integration.
• Provide technical guidance on architectural matters related to product structure, supporting the selection of appropriate design solutions within the digital environment
